A Virtuous Wife {Proverbs 31:15} ~ Good Morning!

Proverbs 31:15 – "She rises while it is yet night; And provides food for her household, and a portion for her maidservants”.

Usually, I’m not a morning person. I’m not always grumpy when I have to wake up early, but Young Husband does have to wake me up quite a few times before I actually come by. And if I still don’t wake up, he’ll start shaking the blankets so that all the cold air creeps in. Thankfully he’s too funny so I can’t stay grumpy, even if I try.

Passion 2012 World Tour

On Saturday, the 6th of October 2012, a group of friends and I went to the Passion 2012 World Tour. Together with thousands of other people we made our way to Cape Town Stadium, with our hearts expectant and excited for what was to come.

Mrs Virtue

Proverbs 31:10-12 {NKJV} "Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life."

This scripture has always meant so much to me. The whole virtuous wife scripture in Proverbs 31 is a wonderful guideline which I decided to make part of my life as a newlywed. The virtuous wife is the kind of wife I want to be. Man, she should be known as the Mrs Virtue and be given a (really stylish) cape!

Sometimes when I read the verses in Proverbs 31 I have to sit and wonder what in the world have I gotten myself into, because it sounds pretty tough! Then I have to remind myself that no one is perfect and as a young wife I still have a lot of room for learning. Thank goodness! This, however, is the type of woman us girls should all strive to be on a daily basis, whether married or not. It is a perfect example of the type of woman the Lord will be pleased in.
